Terms And Conditions


The following terms and conditions establish the contractual agreement between you and Ascot Minicabs. By booking a taxi and utilizing our service, you express unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.

Definitions

The terms "Ascot Minicabs," "we," or "us" pertain to the service-providing company. References to "you" and "your" encompass any individual, business, or company engaging in a booking with us.

Booking

2.1 Adequate time allocation for the journey is your responsibility, especially for airport transfers requiring timely check-in. Ascot Minicabs shall not be held responsible for delays resulting from insufficient time allocation or if you are not ready for collection at the designated time.

2.2 It is your duty to order a car of appropriate size for passengers and luggage. Ascot Minicabs does not guarantee transportation of excessive luggage. Note that, irrespective of age, a child is considered a single passenger.

2.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be made at the time of booking.

Prices & Payment

3.1 Quotations by Ascot Minicabs are based on information provided by you. Prices, unless stated otherwise, exclude VAT, which will be charged separately if applicable. We reserve the right to adjust quotes in the event of significant changes to the itinerary.

3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and covers airport parking costs. Any wait exceeding this period incurs additional charges at the standard Ascot Minicabs waiting rate. While we strive to accommodate delays, we are not obligated to do so.

3.3 Upon accepting our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. Please review it carefully, as Ascot Minicabs is not responsible for delays or costs resulting from inaccuracies if not promptly reported.

3.4 Payment can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card for our services.

The Service

4.1 Passenger behavior during the journey is your responsibility. Charges may apply for vehicle soiling, damage, or negative impact due to passenger actions.

4.2 Eating, drinking, and smoking are prohibited in the car.

4.3 Children in the car must be appropriately restrained based on height, weight, and age.

4.4 Passenger count must adhere to licensing or insurance limits.

Cancellations

5.1 Timely cancellation is required. Charges apply if the cancellation occurs after dispatch, based on the driver's time and distance to the cancellation point.

5.2 Online booking cancellations before dispatch may incur charges on the original payment.

Liability

6.1 While Ascot Minicabs endeavors to ensure timely arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. We disclaim any responsibility for losses incurred by you or your business.

6.2 Your luggage is transported at your own risk.

6.3 In case of a breakdown, we strive to provide an alternative car for your journey's completion.

6.4 You indemnify Ascot Minicabs against expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from omissions or acts by anyone in your party.

6.5 No party can exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful default, or matters unenforceable by applicable laws.

Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any risk is posed to a vehicle or driver, whether through abuse, violence, or damage by you or any passenger. No refunds are provided for terminated journeys.

Miscellaneous

8.1 Ascot Minicabs may subcontract obligations. You cannot assign, delegate, or transfer your obligations or rights under this agreement.

8.2 Ascot Minicabs may modify terms and conditions by updating this page. Review these terms regularly for changes. Existing bookings are honored at rates in effect during booking.

8.3 Information processing complies with the Data Protection Act of 1988.

8.4 This agreement constitutes the full agreement between Ascot Minicabs and you.

8.5 No third party may enforce rights under this agreement without written agreement.

Disputes

Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Ascot Minicabs is not obliged to address claims or disputes made after this period.
